Welcome to the home of the Statesmen! We are a Heavy Roleplay superteam, or “guild,” for Champions Online. The idea is simple: the Statesmen have representatives from one of four regions in the nation (and sometimes backup representatives). The result is a large, federally-funded, supergroup which is something like a combination of the Avengers and Congress.

• We seek to explore and enjoy all facets of the game, from traditional missions to crafting, PvP, and exploration.
• As a Heavy Roleplay group, we presume that players will be “in character” most of the time.
• We have no requirements regarding character level, powers, or origin. Members are Deputy Federal Marshalls, however, and required to obey the laws of the United States; this might dissuade certain character types from joining the team.
• We have a simple but strict naming policy which welcomes traditional hero codenames.
• We do not accept heroes who are clearly derived from trademarked characters.
• Prospective members should know what region they will wish represent in the team!
• We recognize the lore of the Champions Universe and try to work within the lore at all times.
• We have a short application process and welcome almost anyone who is willing to RP. New members remain in Trainee status for one month, when they are usually promoted to full membership.
• We have no strict activity requirements. However, members who have gone inactive risk losing their active status.
• You are allowed two characters in the Statesmen. One is your "main," and helps represent the region you have chosen. The other is "reserve" and represents another region.
